Pressed glass “flower pattern” tile designed by Frank Lloyd Wright and manufactured by Luxfer Prism Company at the turn of the last century were repurposed into light fixtures for a building entry. Forty-eight 4” X 4” pressed glass tiles were arranged in two circles with the glass tiles attached to a wall with a simple custom armature. Centrally located suspended metal spun shades conceal light sources that illuminate the pressed glass tiles refracting light amongst the shadows.
